Module 5: IMLead® Heptathlon Concept for Integrated Management & Leadership

Overview

This core module introduces participants to the IMLead® Heptathlon Concept, a unique seven-dimensional management and leadership framework designed to drive sustainable innovation and technology transfer in international contexts. By integrating leadership principles, ESG criteria, and strategic foresight, this concept empowers professionals to lead organizational transformation holistically and effectively.

The IMLead® framework aligns company vision with global sustainability goals (SDGs), offering tools for strategic decision-making, agile process design, and value-driven leadership. Participants will learn how to apply this model to manage innovation cycles, evaluate technological potential, and build resilient, learning-oriented organizations.

The seven IMLead® transformation areas include:

  1. The Manager – Visionary and SDG-aligned leadership

  2. The Human Being – Employee culture, diversity, and stakeholder engagement

  3. The Information – Internal/external knowledge management

  4. The Future – Strategy, innovation, and sustainability foresight

  5. The Processes – Value chain efficiency and continuous improvement

  7. The Finances & Integrated Thinking – Economic responsibility with systemic integration

The module also explores the role of the Chief Technology Transfer Officer (TTO/CTO) as a strategic player in managing these seven dimensions. Participants gain insights into:

  • Evolving roles and organizational functions of TTOs/CTOs

  • Stakeholder dynamics and leadership styles in tech-driven environments

  • Integration of operational, strategic, and innovation responsibilities

  • Functional tools for analyzing bottlenecks, resource drivers, and impact leverage
