Certification Task Description:

Welcome to the IMLead®TTM — Certified Technology Transfer Manager certification task.
This task is designed for participants who have successfully completed the Technology Transfer online course and wish to deepen their understanding by applying the learned concepts and tools in a real-world context.

Purpose of the Certification Task

The certification task consists of writing a Technology Transfer Paper.
Its purpose is to demonstrate the ability to apply technology transfer methods, tools, and approaches to an individual project situation.
Participants are expected to translate theory into practice by working on a concrete technology transfer challenge relevant to their professional or organisational context.

Project Context

The project must be clearly aligned with the theme of technology transfer.
The specific context is flexible and chosen by the participant.
Projects may be:
  • based on the participant’s own work environment, or
  • defined independently, provided they reflect a realistic technology transfer scenario

A brief description of suitable project contexts and expectations is provided in the task document.

Key Requirements

The Technology Transfer Paper must clearly address the following aspects:
  • a clear understanding of the needs and expectations of the technology partners
  • consideration of intercultural aspects relevant to the project context
  • design and implementation of a technology transfer plan, including concrete actions

Practical Information

  • Task duration: 4 weeks
  • Expert consultation: 20 minutes (to discuss project fit and direction)
  • Certification: Issued after successful evaluation of the transfer paper

This task forms the basis for awarding the IMLead®TTM — Certified Technology Transfer Manager certification.
